In case you don't know (and even a lot of Ruggy folk don't seem to know), a Ruglonian is someone who comes from Rutherglen - like a Glaswegian or an Aberdonian.  I have cheated a bit here as many of these 'celebrities' are from Castlemilk rather than Rutherglen - but still quite an impressive list.

I apologise that there are only a few women on the list, but it seems the wifies of Ruggy have not been as successful as their male counterparts over the years.  The town's not as overtly chauvinistic today, but old habits die hard (although Ruggy grannies die even harder!).  Besides, many of said 'famous' persons are footballers known only to a few hundred people.  But everyone has their own idea of fame and success, do they not?

Aye, whatever...

I categorised the 'celebrities' and then listed them in 'Order of Fame' according to myself...
